Flat Water Customs started in Nebraska as a side project built around fishing and making baits I actually wanted to throw. Over time, that turned into a part-time tackle business.

I served in the U.S. Army, later worked as a prosecutor, and now represent veterans in VA disability claims. Outside of work, you’ll usually find me in the shop making tackle or out on the water.

Today, Flat Water Customs is based on Lake Seminole, Georgia. The goal is simple: make good baits, keep them reasonably priced, and sell tackle that earns a place in the boat.
